Efinti is a fintech startup that offers SME’s access to digital financing services. Their services are especially designed for businesses that, due to their recent launch into the market, have no access to capital from traditional financial institutions.
The startup was founded in 2019 by Andrés Tobón and Alejandra Gaviria. In less than 3 years after its foundation in Colombia, Efinti has started operations in Panama and the United States. Over the last year, this fintech has generated a gross transaction value equivalent to USD $15M.
The round was led by Inversiones Andamas, with the participation of Acelera Latam. Ernesto Ruiz and Franco Niebles participated as angel investors.
With this capital Efinti will enter the Mexican market in 2023, with the ultimate goal of serving 14 countries and one million startups within 5 years.
