Mudafy offers personalized advice for homeseekers to find their ideal property, they support their clients throughout the whole process, from discovering the property until the signing of the title deeds.
The startup currently operates in Mexico and Argentina, with more than 50,000 listed properties and 1 million active users.
The startup was founded by Franco Forte and Lucas Díaz and was selected by Y Combinator in 2019.
Their latest round was led by San Francisco-based Founders Fund, a firm that notably invested in companies such as Airbnb, Stripe, Facebook, SpaceX, Nubank and Kavak. IDC Ventures also participated in the round.
With this capital, Mudafy expects to generate 500 million dollars in annualized sales by the end of 2022. The investment will be used to continue its expansion in Mexico, enrich and grow its team and further improve the platform’s UX.
It is important to mention that proptech investments in the Latin American region have grown five times year-on-year since 2021, and international firms are projected to continue investing.
