Agritech startup SiloReal, formerly known as Identity on Field, has successfully secured $1.5 million in funding. SiloReal offers real-time remote monitoring and security solutions for silo bags while also providing access to credit, which assists agricultural producers in efficiently overseeing their stored produce in these flexible, large plastic bags. These bags are especially handy during the harvest season when traditional silos may reach their maximum capacity.
SiloReal plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges associated with silo bag storage. The company's services include identifying and assessing the condition of silo bags, managing stock, and recording goods.
Co-founded in 2021 by Delfín Uranga, José Domínguez, and Martín Saubidet, SiloReal has grown substantially. Currently, it boasts more than 50 clients and operates in 221 facilities, where it monitors over 1 million tons of grains across Brazil and Argentina.
